Secrets From The Garden

This blog emerged from my personal experiences. 

My name is Curtis Longstreet. I had the honor of pastoring Praise Center Church in Southfield, Michigan, for 36 years. Additionally, I served the Detroit Police Department as a Police Chaplain for 22 years and volunteered as a chaplain in both the Wayne County Jail and the Dickerson Detention Facility. My ministry journey included serving at the Detroit Rescue Mission, which helps homeless men, as well as engaging with several prayer groups. Currently, I am writing a book titled "Secrets From the Garden of Eden." 

The purpose behind my writing and blogging is to share my experiences and impart the wisdom I've gained through ministering alongside a wonderful community of people. I am eager to share my journey growing up in Detroit, Michigan, where I witnessed the rise of Motown and the impacts of the 1967 riots. My diverse experiences have taught me a vital lesson: you can control your future and its outcomes by adhering to biblical principles. If you’re unhappy with the fruit in your life, it's time to check the root. You will find that I often discuss the concepts of seedtime and harvest, which are crucial in Christian teachings. It took me years to grasp this process, and applying these seedtime and harvest principles ultimately led me to become debt-free.
